The health perception-health function of the family suggests that it has an average health status. The health is not poor and the members are less vulnerable to severe health issues like diabetes and allergies yet there is a mild risk of getting cold and fever since there is low temperature at night and cool breezes during the morning. The family is suggested to have regular checkups and to take vitamins. Nutritional Metabolic Pattern of family shows that it has a healthy diet plan that is necessary for the family according to Vincenz and Siskind (1994). The family eats 3 to 4 times a day a morning, bread and curry in the lunch, fruits in the evening and rice with fish or chicken at dinner. The family members drink on average 8 glasses of water every day. The family needs to avoid the fatty food and the one high in cholesterol. This will help the family avoid the heart diseases. The family does not face any severe Elimination problem. The members void around five times a day. Each member's elimination pattern is about 500-800 ml/day. The members of the family need to analyses the stool and the analysis shows that there is no problem as constipation etc. The family members are found poor at Activity Exercise Pattern. They do not get involved in the regular exercise yet their nature of work is semi-active thus they move about and walk a little while they perform house and office tasks. The family is advised to take measures and get involved in exercise since it will become more important as the time passes. The Pattern of sleep and rest of the family is found to be a little imbalanced. The family is normally found to wake up 7 a.m. In the morning and sleep at 11 p.m. but, often the family members join parties or watch movies thus they sleep late night. This might disturb the rest pattern and performance and productivity during the following day as suggested by Doyer and Radovich (1990). The family members do not feel rested well after sleeping. Family's Cognitive-Perceptual Pattern shows that they do not lack sensory pattern. The family members on average are having secondary education. The family members can read and write and two family members are having higher education. The family members can easily learn and write and no family member ever failed in a class. The Self-Perception Pattern of the family shows that they are having a confident self-image. The family does not have problems of self-pity or inferiority complex. Thus, the psychological health of the company is above average. The Role Relationship Pattern of the family suggested that it has healthy relationships with the neighborhood. The family knows how to speak English. The family members live together where there is mother, father and four children. One son is married and his wife also lives with them. The members are independent financially and all of them are earning. The Sexuality-Reproductive Pattern of the family is normal. Family members are involved and oriented towards heterogenic monogamy. According to the Coping-Areas Management Pattern of the family, the family rarely faces any stressful event. The family members have the capacity to fight problems rather than seeking escape. The family is not stressful or deviating. The family has a strong Roman Catholic Value belief system. The family visits church every Sunday and also involves in the charity programs.

Nursing Wellness Diagnosis

The family is evaluated by the nurses so that they can find if there is any health pattern that is critical for the family. The family members are having a satisfied life and do not seem to complain about anything in the light of analysis (Weber, 2005). Yet the members are found by the nurses to have two mild issues. The nurses diagnoses that some family members are having insomnia and others might develop it. It is evident from the sleep and rest pattern of the family members. The family though has a set time for sleeping and to wake up yet the routine is often violated when the members have a party of watch movies. This is causing the daughters problems and they do not feel fresh in the morning and find it hard to sleep. The women do not only need a proper diet but also proper sleep (Women's Health & Illness in The Expanding Family, n.d). Thus, it is suggested that they should not stay awake late if they have to wake up early next morning. The family should only stay awake late when they are having an off day following.

The nurses also diagnosed that the family is unconsciously eating more carbs and the meals need to add some raw food too. The salads are not the part of the family diet and given the low activity of family during the day, the members might have problem of obesity at later age. The family members are suggested to adjust their meals and they should be taking rice on alternative days and should take fruits at breakfast. During the evening, a routine of walk or exercise will help the family avoid heart or cholesterol issues in later age. The family members are enjoying good time together and help each other when there is a family crisis. The family is also suggested to talk about their intellectual and cognitive needs and to find a study time in their daily routines. This will help the family enhance the cognitive experience.
