¶ … improve the search engine for my business (Sam's African Produce). And why these strategies were chosen

How these strategies will benefit the

the company (Sam's African Produce)

Why this will work for the demographic

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) will help me improve my improve the visibility of my business website by increasing the rankings of the site on any search engine. Increasing visibility of the website will be useful to my business since not only may SEO potentially direct more people to my site -- hopefully resulting in more clients -- but it will enhance the reputation of my business, hopefully making tis products and service more popular.

Four strategies for improving SEO are the following:

Know my audience

I will need to know the demographics of my prospective audience in order to slant the business to them. Keeping the demographics of my audience in mind will help me slant the content accordingly, thereby making my business more attractive to their needs. Variables include age, sex, needs and geographic locations. Knowing these details will also help me in choosing particular keywords. Searchers will then find these keywords when typing in certain words. This will direct them to my site. In this way, my company will profit since it will be attracting the right mix of customers and not wasting money on attempting o satisfy and attract a mismatched sample. Customers too will profit since they will expand less effort in searching for their needs to be met. They will find me faster than they may otherwise have done had I not invested time in scripting content according to my targeted sample.

2. Keyword Research

It is not necessary that I place Sam's African Produce in the prominent place. Prospective clients are not searching for that. Rather they have specific needs which they want answered. It is these need that that will type in, and I need to know these needs in order to address them. It is these needs, in the form of keywords that I need to place in prominent key places. These include the title as well as in the navigating links (as long as it makes sense). Doing so, will assure that my business (detected by keywords) will appear in the top of the search list and search engines will have an easier time detecting my site.

This -- for the same reasons as Strategy #1, will also benefit not only myself but also demographics and clients since matches will be more conductively engineered bringing more clients -- and the right mix -- to my site than may have otherwise been the case.

4. Diversity

Changing the content of my site -- diversifying it -- will attract a potentially larger sample of people than would just one content. A range of different contents such as film clips and pictures can be used along with written content. This will not only interest prospective clients, but can also enhance and expand my appeal.

Keeping in mind these strategies will enable me to improve my SEO rankings making my website more popular so that I can increase business reputation and attract clients to my site regardless of where my business is situated.
