The idea that death is not an end but a transition is really interesting in this light, and understanding and recognizing our mental and emotional states can actually be a pathway to liberation. This, to me, is both comforting and enlightening. It challenges the preconceived fear of death that we might have and gives a rather positive perspective that sees death as a continuation of a journey.
