As one can see from this discussion, the decision making process in this case needs to be based on the assessment of the hospital's strategic objectives and, at the same time, while considering the existing and achievable resources of the organization. For this, almost any strategic assessment decision support tool can be used, some of which have been discussed here. With this type of decision making framework, the strategic initiatives that will be selected can increase the value of the organization and its impact on the community.
