Previously, China had ranked first in the world for years interms of its measles incidence rate before 2010, which compelled the country to enhance preventive measures. Despite all this, it is obvious that measles is proving a difficult disease to eradicate in developing countries such as China. But having said that I hope that with ongoing vaccination programs in the near future and with a little help from the nursing world of course, measles can be eradicated worldwide.
