Dr. Bay can use the data in a number of ways. He can hold a meeting with all the professors and discuss with them his research findings. This will help each person to become more self-aware through this entire process. He can do a PowerPoint with the data along with his suggestions to make it easier for faculty and administrative assistant that are working together to make life grand for the students. Furthermore, Dr. Bay can consider publishing it in a journal. This will help the academic world become aware of staffing issues, and seek to find ways to make the workplace environment more enjoyable for everyone involved.

By taking these measures, he is able to make sure that anyone interested in reading his work has access to it through means of the Internet, and for those individuals that are staff members. Ultimately, people are able to remain as professional as possible, while learning from numerous colleges and universities who have overcome the issue Dr. Bay is experiencing currently. This will also empower others by him going this route in-person and by publishing his work to those who are interested.

2. Suggest ways in which ways the administrative jobs can be changed to make better use of their time and be more supportive to the faculty.

One has a number of ways in which to the administrative jobs get changed to make it easier on those that are having to support the faculty on a regular basis. The faculty can take on some of the work that their administrative personnel are doing, such as placing the grades into the system on their own computer, instead of having them do it all the time. Furthermore, the professors can make their own travel arrangements because it only takes no more than one hour to do anyways. This can ease the burden for their secretary immensely because if he or she is serving up to three or more people in a day, plus dealing with students; this can become difficult and hard to manage on a regular basis.

The goal is to have at least the means in which to have everyone take responsiblity (Helpguide, 2011). This is the first step in the entire process for those that are trying to balance out their work schedules. Both of these indivudals will need to work together to solve this problem, but thanks to Dr. Bay, this will become reality sooner than expected. Not only that, but also these indiviudals can do team building exercises every quarter to allow for better communication and to allow each of them to trust each other better while in the academic setting. Through these efforts, stress is reduced and people are satisfied with their work, which makes it all worth it (Helpguide, 2011).

3. Suggest ways the faculty can change work habits to reduce the burden on the administrative assistants.

Faculty can change their work habits immensely in order to make it easier for their administrative assistants. Many are worth mentioning. One has to believe that a person has to become self-aware of themselves first in the midst of working with their administrative assistants. This will mean that the faculty members need to treat them with dignit and respect. On many occasion, when a person is in an executive position, he or she will look down on others and treat them horribly. This may appear the case with how much the professors are placing on them which needs to stop immediately with this type of behavior. If they keep it up, they are going to face termination from their superiors, which is not worth it (Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, 2011).

Not only that, but maybe they are not keeping a positive attitude towards their administrative assistants. They are negative and crude to them for striving to keep up with all the tasks that are placed on them daily. Regardless, this is unprofessional, and the faculty need to expereince ways in which to change their egos by not thinking they are more powerful than their counterparts at the university. Regardless, these indiviudals need to "admit their mistakes" (Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, 2011, p.1). When they do this, then hopefully their attitudes will change because of it. In turn, their secretaries will enjoy working with the faculty members, and they will want to work better as a team to meet the needs of students better. Also, each of them should give credit where it is due for something that was told to them, so that humility will become a part of their life. If these habits mentioned are put into practice, the work environment is going to become more pleasant for everyone (Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, 2011).
