¶ … Ob Organizational behavior Positive elements of differences in skills and abilities based on the below team module Sales and Computer Savvy - Sue Sue's proficiency in sales clearly marks her personality as persuasive and personable. She is 'a people person' who knows how to use the Internet to its maximum marketing advantage.

Sue would be the ideal 'fronts woman' to present the final work team presentation, as well as to use her knowledge of HTML or effective Power point design to create a sales website or simply design more visual presentation to promote the proposed innovations. Communicator, Leader, Problem Solver - Mark Mark would be a strong team leader behind the scenes. He could help Sue with her presentation in her organization, in her presentation word choice, and perhaps facilitate discussion and question taking after Sue's presentation.

Also, he would be an excellent group facilitator and diffuse and deploy potential conflicts in a positive manner. Logistics and it - Todd Todd would have an excellent idea about the practicalities behind any proposal, and also have good advice about how informational technology that was fairly new to the other participants could be deployed in the project.

If true to stereotype (in a positive fashion) and logical in his outlook, Todd could also be a powerful moderating voice, stressing that debates and conflict-ridden discussions should be centered upon verifiable facts and logical disputes rather than personality.

Adaptable, Investing Financial Markets Whiz - Harry flexible personality on a team is an excellent asset and reminder of the need to compromise -- and so is someone like Harry, whose financial acumen ensures that he will remind his team with good humor that must always remember the need to stay on budget.

Proficient in Microsoft Applications- Cindy Cindy's MS proficiency means that she likely enjoys being behind the scenes rather than being out in front of other people, and will not create conflict demanding more face time, nor will she be bored using already familiar technical systems, as might Todd, regarding it. She may be a new employee, and thus might be more willing to engage in records keeping, organizing, and data recording than the already specialized staff.

This could be an ideal learning opportunity for Cindy, yet she already has skills she can deploy to the team's advantage Part II: How can organizations reduce the time to market for products and services using e-business? Website applications allow for customer surveys to be solicited, as well as for data to be kept about consumer's buying habits or even preferences, in terms of what areas of the site consumers like to peruse.

E-business allows for advertising through other sites, and simply being mentioned in the press on an Internet site can cause the business to ask for a link, even if not a strictly promotional link. Is it appropriate for an organization to consider employee stress when making assignments? Why or why not? On one hand, most mangers like to keep to the mantra that employees ought to leave their personal problems at the door when they enter the office.

Just as a manager should never eschew hiring a woman with a family, it is still no excuse that the baby was home for a snow day from nursery school, thus the project was not brought to completion on time -- or at.
