Organizational Control This report aims to present slides on organizational control. As the consultant for an organization that is growing rapidly, I believe that the company can control the rate of growth in the areas of employee expansion and the span of control. The key is top-down development, training and trust. This report therefore aims to define the concept of control, identify the current and future benefits for the organization, and to make recommendations for control actions to take right now.

Control is the ability to create and maintain all aspects of a multi-agent organization. The current trend is that the company will continue to grow and one person will no longer be able to handle everything. Therefore, it is critical to develop a larger and more complex multi-person management team that can tackle the responsibilities of this future growth. Currently, the president handles the accounting for example.

In the future, the company will need an account to handle those responsibilities so that the president will be freed up to handle his new role as spokesman of the company as well as its point for increasing owner and shareholder wealth. The improvements to the system that I recommend are to work diligently to find and hire the best Human Resource administrator possible because as an HR department goes, so does a company.

HR is no longer just a personnel office; it is the foundation of a company because its responsibilities are to manage an organization's human resources. The span of control here allows a company to get a great department developed and the president only needs to rely on one person to do this. The second recommendation is to develop a sound and viable top down development and training program.
