Person I Interviewed Will Be Research Proposal

Today he is not bitter towards them at all; he believes that all they did was what they thought to be in his best interest at the time. When his love for them came into conflict with his opportunity to be happy, Chiun knew that he had to try and resolve the issue before giving up on their love. On the other hand, he also knew that he could not forever remain blindly loyal to family tradition if this meant a life sentence to unhappy duty. To this day, Chiun is grateful that his parents based their traditions and ideals in love rather than duty. He faces prejudice and derogatory remarks from both his peers and school children when he began his position at the school. Most of his colleagues have however become close friends, and the children have come to respect him as a caring and excellent teacher.
Chiun is also involved in counseling services at his school. This includes not only children who face racism and sexual orientation issues, but also other problems that teenagers normally think they need to deal with alone. In this way, Chiun uses his experiences as a homosexual Asian-American to help others understand that there is nothing wrong with them, but rather with the way in which society sees them. In this way, he helps others to escape the suffering he experienced as a young boy. Now, Chiun can finally say that he is truly happy, regardless of what society believes of him.
