I have deep interest in a wide variety of disciplines: history, geography, math, computers, physics and so on. I love to play basketball, soccer, and pool. I enjoy singing karaoke.

The future I see in front of me is one that I know will require a high level of work, a commitment to excelling at my studies, and a determination to overcome any obstacle in my goal of earning my college degree. It is my responsibility to be the first one in my family to earn a college degree, and I am very proud of that. Proud but not arrogant, I am just incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to get to this family goal which is also my educational goal.

A love my family; they area huge part of my life, and I will not let them down. I am a member of a very special team and they are counting on me. Business Economics if fascinating to be, and I can see so many uses for the concepts this academic discipline includes. What is best about this area of study is that it combines the very hands-on approaches to analyzing business with frameworks for making complex projects simple.

In the future I would like to work on use my degree to figure out how best to invest in new markets and countries, and also teach. Using Business Economics as the foundation for my career is a goal I want very much to accomplish.

Community college offers students an opportunity to learn about college away from the crowding often associated with large universities. What do you feel you have learned from your community college experience? What advice would you give to a high school senior trying to decide between attending a community college or a four-year university?

I've felt that I have learned how to focus on my academic goals in community college. There have been far fewer distractions, and the ability to quickly get feedback on what I am doing well, what I need to improve on, and also discovering what I have a passion for has been easier in a community college. Being in a community college has also given me the chance to get to know my professors very well and go very in-depth into subjects I am interested in. It has been a great experience because I could attain my goals of getting good grades, with the professors' help.

I've also learned that in a community college I can pace myself easier from a class units standpoint, and can also get more out of the subjects covered. Best of all, community college classes seem to fit together well, the subject areas flow together and build on top of one another, making learning easier.
