¶ … skills gap really exist .there are many young adults who lack the required skills and ethics for the jobs that are available. The challenge of the forgotten half has increased due to the increased importance of the post secondary education for the success of the labor market. The forgotten half are threatened and are warned that they might be caught up in a bind that will deny them being part of the society.as a young person I would not like to be caught up in this mess. Therefore I will ensure that I am not part of this forgotten half in that I will ensure that I successfully go through my education so that I can become a useful member of the society. With an increasingly demanding labor market I would also want to be relevant within the labor industry. Therefore I will ensure that I go for a profession that is in high demand and hence reduce the skills gap that exists within the society. Something has to be done by me and other people who are termed as the forgotten half in order to have a better society in future.
