I think that Social Security will still be here for me, though, because I don't see how the President and the Congress could let something that is so necessary for so many people just disappear. I believe that this is part of the reason that President Bush wants to change Social Security so that people can invest part of that money into other things. Doing this would take some of the Social Security burden off of the government and still let people...

Even though Social Security doesn't always pay a lot to these older people, for some of them it is all that they have. While I think Social Security, at least in some form, will still be here for me, I also think that I might want to look into how I can save money and invest money in other ways, even if I don't have that much to invest. Even investing a little bit now might help to protect me later.
