Just as with any group, lawyers are individuals. Some have different sets of ethics than others. The term ambulance chaser, for instance, portrays a lawyer that is more interested in recovering sums from accidents or medical issues and taking a large percentage than the individual needs of clients. Similarly, quick divorce or quick bankruptcy specialists have learned the "system" and offer a way for quick legal outcomes for a fee. The legal profession is valid, even in the 21st century global economy. It is there to correct wrongs, maintain the stability of political and social authority, and act as a check and balance to ensure that justice is given fairly....
