¶ … teleportation society. Teleportation and its benefits Although most people regard it as a science fiction topic, teleportation is often disregarded and the masses are generally inclined to ignore any kind of realistic involvement in projects relating to it. This makes it difficult for people to actually consider the series of ways in which it could help society as a whole. As a consequence, using teleportation devices would significantly assist mankind in general.

One of the first things one can consider when regarding teleportation would entail individuals who are in great danger. A stranded person during a storm or someone in danger of being attacked could rapidly be saved if he or she were to have access to teleportation. Similarly, doctors can teleport in places where they would otherwise have problems reaching and they can thus provide sick persons with assistance. People can experience more and can perform scientific trials that would otherwise be extremely risky.

One can go as far as to picture a world where people could teleport to other planets and perform experiments there. Today's laws of logic would virtually be contradicted by everything that people would do if they had access to such technologies. What most people tend to ignore when considering teleportation is the very idea of transport. Teleportation would not only involve transporting people, as it could also entail transporting goods.

The world would thus no longer need conventional means of transport and pollution would be a thing of the past. Instead of having infrastructure meant to ensure a safe environment for trucks and cars, cities would be green havens where people would be one with the natural world. Time itself would be valued by using different standards if people used teleportation devices.

The usual hours one would spend going to his or her workplace and back on a daily basis would be saved and individuals could use them doing things that matter much more to them. While seemingly unimportant, the times saved to transport both people and merchandise would probably help the world experience progress at a much faster pace. While teleportation would have a series of benefits, one can also consider the numerous ways in which criminals could use it.

It would thus be essential for governments to install new legislations in order to control these mediums. It is actually controversial to consider whether or not teleportation should be made available.
