Dermatology- The dermatology department deals mostly with skin related illnesses. The most common issues within this department pertain to skin, scalp, hair and nails. Many of our clients are female with more cosmetic needs. Many would like to retain their youthful appearance and believe minor surgery is the best solution. As such, our departments offer many cosmetic treatments including hair removal, hair transplants, laser therapy and tattoo removal. This past fiscal year has been quite difficult as many of our affluent clients have postponed treatment due to economic concerns with the U.S. We believe this trend to be transitory in nature, with a steady increase in treatments to occur in early 2012.

Oncology- The oncology department pertains mostly to cancer, its detection and diagnosis. The most common diseases in this department are various forms of cancer with the most common being breast cancer. We have recently overhauled our cancer detection equipment to reflect the latest is technology advances. We have retrofitted our entire departments with the latest available equipment pertaining to Scintigraphy, Single Photon Emission, Computed Tomography, Positron emission, and tomography. All of which will provide better services to our clients in addition to cost reductions due to increased efficiencies. This is especially important as the number of cancer patients within the U.S. has increased exponentially.

Gastroenterology- This department focused primarily on the digestive system and its subsequent disorders. This is another high traffic area within the facility as it affects many humans daily. The most common diseases in this area are those relating to the gastrointestinal tract, which includes the organs from mouth to anus, along the alimentary canal. The specialty teams in this department offer services dealing with Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy, Pre and post management for liver transplantation, and Paracentisis.

Pulmonary- these departments services clients with lung and some heart related illnesses. This department is very stressful as it is constantly bombarded with life of death issues pertaining to the respiratory system. The lung is the central respiratory organ in humans with the two lungs located near the backbone on either side of the heart. This department is particularly important because the lungs provide many essential functions including altering the ph. levels of the blood, filter out small blood clots formed in veins, and much more. The most common diseases in this department are asthma, lung disease, and Cystic Fibrosis.
