Aging processes and biological changes
Everything in the world changes and does not remain the same forever. Human development is also full of different phases. The three major phases of human life is birth, adulthood and death. Among these three major phases, aging is the process that a person encounters after he crosses the boundaries of adulthood.
One very important thing about aging is that it is very subjective is nature. It is contingent to various external as well as internal features. For example, the culture a person is part of, the physical health of a person, the climate in which a person resides in, the kind of environment he or she lives in etc, play a vital part in accelerating or slowing down this process.
Regional disaster analysis and preparedness strategies
Both natural and human caused disasters have been an issue in the safety of human beings all over the world. Fortunately, there are international agencies that are created for the purpose of mitigation purposes and assist in the prevention of disaster effects that would be more adverse. State governments also have the obligation of adopting the right preventive and counter actions to assist in cushioning citizens from the effects of disasters. This paper, therefore, analyzes the types of disasters in Africa, and the theoretical approaches in the management of the disasters. Under management of disasters, different factors are discussed including response, preparedness and recovery and mitigation practices. There is also a review of both the International Agencies and Local Governments, relating to their preparedness in responding to disasters. Finally, there is an analysis on the partnership relationships between public and private agencies to create a stronger defensive force against the adversity of disasters.
International planning principles and practices
China is arguably the most interesting example of development in the world today, maybe even in history. The Chinese utilize a unique development model that contains a wide variety of practices from communism, socialism, as well as capitalism. This mix has produced one of the fastest growing economies that the world has ever known and if China maintains this course it will surpass the United States as the world's largest economy by 2020. Although China has a host of problems that it must still work through, the results that it has achieved thus far are staggering to say the least.
