The strangeness of nature in three American poets
Three American Poets – The Strangeness of Nature Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening – Robert Frost Robert Frost's poem – an iconic and very well known poem – can be misunderstood, and is misunderstood in many instances. This is because there is a seeming innocence about the poem. What could be confusing about a poem that seems so tranquil and so linked to the natural world in wintertime? A careful examination of the second stanza can discover there is more meaning than immediately meets the eye, however. "My little horse must think it queer / To stop without a farmhouse near / Between the woods and frozen lake / The darkest evening of the year." The poet stops on the "…darkest evening of the year" to watch the woods "fill up with snow," and according to John T. Ogilvie's scholarship, the poet is caught between two worlds, the world of quiet nature and solitude, and the world of "…people and social obligations" (Ogilvie, 1959). Does the lure of his social responsibility have more power than his attraction to the woods? Ironically the world of the woods and snow may be the poet's escape from the village and the society, but a man owns these woods so he isn't really escaping at all.

Impact of New Technologies and Globalization on the Music Industry
The global music industry today is going through a series of disruptive innovations that are changing business models in the short-term and value chains over the long-term. The pervasive influence of the Internet, mobile and streaming technologies, and the shift from CD-based music to digital and online music also signals how quickly the global value chain of the music industry is changing today. Of these many disruptive innovations, the most significant is the shift from individual record labels and their relatively un-integrated approach to delivering digital music to the pervasive platforms that include Apple iTunes (Hopkins, 2011). With the number of legitimate online sources for music growing from 60 in 2005 to more than 400 in 2010 the role of the platform as consolidator in this global industry is clear (Hopkins, 2011). Of the many types and forms of global music distribution, online music is forecasted to grow at a 31% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), increasing from $5.9B in 2010 TO $7.7B in 2015 (Apple Investor Relations, 2012). Apple's internal research shows that online music subscription services will also experience very rapid growth, with one of the most well-known being Spotify, which is predicted to grow five-fold between 2010 to 2015. The Recording Industry of America (RIAA) estimates that 47% of global music industry can be attributed digital music downloads and subscription services (Apple Investor Relations, 2012). Contributing to these exceptional levels of growth are the impacts of globalization, technologies that are making online digital music sharing highly price effective and reliable, and greater clarity in the area of copyright and licensing. The global impact of piracy and free source software is also having a very significant impact on the global profitability of the music industry (Preston, Rogers, 2011). These constraints will be assessed and analyzed throughout this report.

Marketing plan for In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out Burger (In-N-Out) is quick service food restaurant chain operator based in the United States. The company was established in the year 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder. The restaurant fills a void in the restaurant industry between low end fast food and a complete sit down meal by making food from scratch and providing excellent customer comfort and care. However, it does not have tremendous market saturation, so that while it is ranked among the top 50 quick service restaurants, it is number 45 on that list (Oches, 2011). The company also owns and operates a patty making facility in California. In addition, the company provides catering services to various events like parties, corporate picnics and other custom events in its own mobile units including vans. In-N-Out Burger started as a mom-and-pop operation and slowly grew with, at its core, a very strong and committed client base. Furthermore, it has done so by separating itself from its competition. In-N-Out Burger is not a traditional fast-food chain, though it is certainly a quick-service restaurant, and it also defies the pattern of even the most casual sit-down establishment.
