The paper is a look at two cases in which doctors discussed a diagnosis with a patient. Based on the cases, this paper examined how well the doctors, and in conjunction nurses, fulfill a patients psychosocial needs. Research has determined that many times patients do not know how to communicate their needs, and healthcare professionals do not have the time to pursue them.
