McDonalds also tailors its leadership and decision-making processes to what customers want and need. If customers get what they need they will be happy and they will come back. That is a winning situation for everyone involved. In stakeholder theory, everything is taken into account, as opposed to only considering profits. There is no shortage of people in the United States and many other countries that want to eat the food McDonalds produces. The company also gives back to the communities in which it is located, and that helps everyone in the equation. The company gets more profit because people like what it is offering them, and the community gets value because it is helped along by the social programs to which McDonalds donates. When the company and the community are both benefitting from their interactions, there is much more of a reason for the company to remain in the community.
