Chlamydia: is a bacterial infection from chlamydia trachomatis. These bacteria live in the vaginal and seminal fluids. The infection can be passed on through vaginal and oral sex and also if there is contact between the hand if the virus resides on it and the eyes. Symptoms often do not arise. If they do, they are vaginal or penile discharge and painful urination. In women abdominal pain may occur; fever and pain during intercourse are also common. For men, occasionally, pain and swelling of the testicles occur. Doxycycline and Azithromycin are used to treat both Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.
