In spite of the fact that there may have existed two great cultures that once widely accepted homosexuality as mere manifestation of the human sexuality, the Western world inherited a traditional negative attitude when it comes to this. Parents may accept their sons' and daughter's homosexuality and learn how to live with it, but they will never feel happy about it. Why? Authors like Greenberg (1988), Davies (1982) and Gayle Rubin (1984) are preoccupied to go to the roots of things and to find out what motivates people to fight each other when it comes to such a basic and private right as the choice of a sexual partner.

Children out of wedlock, birth control means and masturbation are today topics in the Western society that are no longer taboos. On the other hand, homosexuality is in many respects, still generating harsh debates. Not only the political, but also the social grounds of our societies are shaken by this hot topic. There are still people who condemn it and would vote for those who are expressing strong feelings against any manifestation related to homosexuality.

Gayle Rubin underlines that as a product of human activity,...

267). Rubin takes a look closer to contemporary times and considers the middle of the twentieth century, the time for civil rights movement and also the time "for major shifts in the organization of sexuality" (Rubin, 1984p. 269). The United States had started a war against homosexuals that was to last until the 1970s (Rubin, p. 270).
The insufficient knowledge about homosexuality made societies' attitudes in this respect remain controversial to this day. Homosexuals have come a long way, but people have still questions related to the origins of such a sexual tendency that are unanswered. This makes the topic prone to interpretation and speculation. Except for some churches and the military, homosexuals have earned equal rights with their heterosexual counterparts, but some society strata still regard it as a social menace.

Omole-Ohonsi, (2007) in his study of sub-Saharan Africa confirmed these affects by suggesting that overpopulation of a locality not only damages the environment and sustainability but "feeds the cycle of poverty" (20). Thus, from non-renewable resources to social problems, the effects of overpopulation are large and far-reaching, encouraging a cycle of environmental destruction and poverty. Ways to Achieve Sustainability As previously mentioned, overpopulation is a difficult problem to solve because it deals

Sexuality Research has shown that men and women look for different characteristics when looking for long-term partners. Some research shows that men favor physical variables (attractiveness) more than women (lecture notes). This could be due to an underlying biological impetus to breed with women who have good genes. The fact that many men worldwide reveal a preference for younger partners might also be traceable to biology; younger women are more likely

Surprisingly, BDD, which is often a precursor to or comorbid symptom of eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia nervosa, is nearly as common among young men as women. This indicates that the onslaught and idolization of media images of "gorgeous" men in America is also having a negative effect on boys' sexual self-images.
