The state has every right to establish reasonable tests and safeguards to limit euthanasia to individuals who are mentally competent to make the decision for themselves. Beyond that, however, it is difficult to support an ethical objection to euthanasia. Personal privacy is a fundamental right that the Supreme Court determined "emanates" from the Constitution forty years ago (whether Donald Trump is aware of that or not). Furthermore, the concept of patient autonomy is a fundamental focus of modern medical ethics. He argues that if society were to allow the terminally ill to commit suicide, then it would be a small step to allow other members of society -- like the handicapped -- to do so as well. This is not a completely trivial argument for two reasons: first, it is the point-of-view held by the majority of the Christian right -- a powerful political force in the Untied States;

Euthanasia is basically described as the intentional killing of an individual for his/her benefit, and is usually carried out because the person who dies requests for it. While it can also be referred to as physician-assisted suicide, it's known as euthanasia because there are situations where the individual can't ask for it. As one of the major issues in the medical field, there are various laws regarding euthanasia in almost
