This paper is a reflection of the experience of interfacing with internet browsers. Reflecting upon this experience in the information or digital age is a worthwhile activity. How consumers interface with software is an intriguing issue from an economic perspective, from a business perspective, and from a consumer perspective. We are in the age of the peer-review. If a website or a browser is arduous or unpleasant to interact with, those details will travel around the world via the internet with great acceleration. Thus it is important for software to function efficiently, have pleasing aesthetics, and be simple to maneuver. How a browser is organized, the kind of experience the user has with the browser and the website, is important and crucial in the information age. If a browser is not a pleasant experience, people will not use/consume it and no profit will be made. The reputation of the company will be worthless. In the information age, peer review and reputation are almost everything. The paper will describe, reflect upon, and offer a comparative analysis of the experience of two internet browsers.

People use the internet for recreation, for research, for profit, for communication, and for creative expression. We need to take notice of our experience with software. We need to take notice because software and the internet our integral to the lives of many people and to understand or prevent harmful effects, we should understand the technology and our experience with that technology very well. People take for granted things like internet browsers. Many of us are more concerned with the content of the websites for which we are searching. The internet browsers seem to blend into the background without consumers noticing how the browser ushers our experiences on the internet. In this paper, the experience of using two of the plethora of available internet browsers will be described. There are reasons why consumers prefer one browser over another, even if those reasons are not consciously articulated or thought. We use the browsers that make our internet experiences easy, fruitful, and pleasant. We want to access what we are searching for as quickly and effectively as we can.
