Rationale for outreach methods: The above groups are established community leaders that have clout among its members. The variety of sectors that will be tapped will ensure wide coverage of education.

Methods of evaluating health education including outcomes of health education: HIV testing and counseling clinics will be requested to provide baseline information that will be used in conducting a comparative study after the initial six months of intervention.

General timeline for projected health education project: The formation and equipping of possible volunteers to the support group will require about three months. After this time period, they will be encouraged to provide peer-to-peer health education to the targeted high-risk group. After another 3 months of this intervention, the formed group will be assessed, re-equipped and supported in approaching community leaders or groups for the larger health education campaign. Naturally, only those willing to come out from the formed volunteers group will be encouraged to help in the more extensive...

Especially that the coverage of intervention is the whole community where possibilities of collaboration and network-buildings are very promising. It will also be professionally and personally enriching to help empower the community in taking action towards their health and wellness.
