Another benefit of open discussion of the learning process is the trust which the student places in the hands administrators and parents. This opens up opportunities to better suit the true needs of the student in question. It is essential that students are involved with at least some part of the learning process they go through on a daily basis. It will not only improve performance, but also boost student confidence and responsibilities. Unlike models of the past, modern institutions should look to incorporating students in decisions regarding their academic futures.
