Attribute of Organizations Autonomy at work

Autonomy at work and freedom to make decisions goes a long way to motivate the employees on achieving much beyond their targets with little or no supervision since they will be responsible for their own decisions. The most interesting job that I have done is being a picnic and tours guide for the high school vacation groups particularly during the school breaks. This involves helping the students to access the interesting sites in groups, planning their logistics, guiding their tours and putting together activities for them. In as much as there was sufficient room to make decisions on my own, there could have been more autonomy extended to me as a guide in terms of the choice of the sites to suggest to the different groups instead of the employer always dictating the sites where a particular group was to be take. There could have been also the autonomy in the choice and range of activities that I would expose the teams to as opposed to an already prepared schedule of activities being handed over to me.

One of the ways is to allow the few employees to specialize in what they are most proficient in within the organization instead of doing everything that is close to their line of specialization. This specialization will then allow a maximization of skills and hence increase in production with much lesser strain and in that case making the employees enjoy their work instead of feeling strained. The other way is to outsource through consultancy the few complex duties that may...

This will ensure the shortest time is taken with the highest efficiency to achieve a significant level of production without the employees getting overly stretched. The other internal measure that can be taken is inter-departmental consultation where a department would formally consult another for the particular skills that they have that can help ease the burden from the employees in another department hence making work easier for all within the organization as well as saving on the costs of handling the work.
Leading the Whole Organization Strategically

Some of the strategies that Costco has used have made it the leader in its business frontier and the peculiarity of these approaches is simply the willingness to venture outside the conventional thinking framework and norms. These are approaches that can be used by other companies for instance paying the employees well as a means of motivating them and ensuring they give the maximum delivery to the organization is an approach that any company can use. The other approach is through specializing in a limited number of items in order to create a niche for themselves that would identify them among the customers. This too is an approach that many companies can adopt rather that being a junk of all trades.

Importance of Social project

There are several advantages that are associated with getting involved in social projects, for instance it is one of the most efficient ways of creating a brand community and a society that will identify with the brand of the organization carrying out the social project. It is also an easy way of securing the loyalty of the clients even those who do not benefit directly from the social project but hear of the social projects the…
