Who I Am Now

I am a business management graduate presently working as a trucking dispatcher for Pepsi. My job entails the management and organization of various processes including, but not limited to; the collection, fetching, and dispatch/conveyance of cargo/loads to vendors, clients, etc. This is a hugely fulfilling career as it permits me deploy and/or utilize the various skills acquired in the academic realm to fulfill the business objectives of my employer while at the same time satisfying the needs of our diverse clientele. I also cherish working alongside a hugely motivated and dedicated team of colleagues and partners.

Friends and colleagues have often described me as outgoing, industrious, and empathic. I also happen to be an effective communicator and value teamwork. These attributes have enabled me to perform effectively in my present role. This is more so the case given that this particular role happens to be a collaborative effort between various stakeholders including managers and supervisors, drivers, suppliers, as well as clients. Towards this end, the ability to work together with other people and communicate in effective and meaningful formats is crucial.

Possible obstacle(s): Financial constraints. To rein in this obstacle, I will improve my credit score (so as to, amongst other things, benefit from business loans).

In relation to impacting the lives of others in a positive manner

1. Going forward: Start networking with other industry players that I could later on partner with to positively impact the lives of others

2. Going forward: Connect with my Creator in deeper formats as it is from the Creator that we get guidance on the right course of action especially in relation to how to engage with, and help, others.
