First, I need you to insert all design specifications into the first of the two spreadsheets I've attached to this message. The function of this spreadsheet is to correlate data so that I can compare our product performance figures more easily. I'm tired of that process taking as long as it does. Second, I need you to record your time spent on each design project on the second spreadsheet attached to this message. This will enable me to compare how much time you spend on certain projects with the importance of that project towards meeting our quarterly goals. The head honcho has been showing some interest in those. I'm well aware that this will not be the easiest transition, but I need this done right away. Expediency in this matter will reflect well on myself and our department, and could lead to a higher departmental budget. Looks like I might be able to take that end of the year golf vacation after all and maybe even purchase some of those additional supplies for our department which you've all been asking for.
