Difficult Professional Experiences Of My Term Paper

It demonstrates that all conflict is not bad, and that some conflict in fact can serve as an impetus for the improvement of professional goals and personal skills. It is always a risk to admit failure in any situation, and yet the importance of admitting and learning from failure is frequently essential in the process of self-development. Through this rather frustrating experience in which I learned that I needed greater skills and education in order to continue to improve my professionalism and job attainment I have also generated a rather fundamental understanding of the importance of listening to my inner voice. My inner voice told me that I should not take the job and that I would not fit in, but having ignored this inner voice, I also learned a great deal about myself, my historical education and skills and most importantly that if you at first ignore your inner voice you must listen to it later and illicit...

Had I never entered this period of employment I may have never questioned my skills or realized the need to improve upon my interpersonal communication skill or my education. I was a party in the situation, and I did not immediately take an active role in solving the problems that occurred. Had I immediately told Jim, my boss that I did not feel confident in editing his work, he may have immediately questioned my ability to do my job, or he may have understood where my weaknesses were, i.e. self-confidence and attempted to help me improve this to a degree that would have helped me improve the situation, early on. Either way the situation may still have turned out the same, then I would still have learned a great deal about myself and my abilities.
