Components also include maintaining a standard of desirable living, the livelihood(s) with which they are both employed and the demands that their job(s) have on their time and energy, a clean house and how clean they would like it to be, a nice looking yard and the general maintenance required of the physical abode in which they dwell.

Determining what questions to ask and to whom those questions should be directed is a relatively simple matter once the components have been identified. Addressing Marcus and Arishonne as the first of the components, questions that need to be answered include; 1) how happy are you individually with your jobs, 2) are there any other careers that you would contemplate that might be less demanding on your time, 3) is there a possibility of one or both individuals working out of the home, 4) is the domestic life that both crave a possibility if one forgoes a career in order to stay home, 5) can a schedule be developed that would allow for each individual shoulder a share of the work around the home, 6) does their income allow for hiring someone else to accomplish the housework, yard maintenance and other responsibilities around the house on a regularly scheduled basis, and 7) could they find someone to live in the house with them that would be responsible for the household duties?

The next item of business would be to determine where to find the answers to the above listed questions, and to gather data that would assist Marcus and Arishonne in making the necessary choices based on the answers to these questions, and other questions as they arise. A logical next step based on the couples answers to the first question would be to determine what other careers are available.

A question that begs to be asked in this scenario is 'what are you good at (besides your present occupation) that you would like to try?' Determining if the couple's skills match their present job or career could be addressed by the answering to that question. An additional question that can be asked regarding question 3 would be, if you are able to work out of your home, does that also allow you the time and accessibility to accomplish the tasks that need to be accomplished around the house, while still working and earning a living? Another concept that could be presented concerning question four would be, 'if either Marcus or Arishonne give up their employment to take on the household duties, would that cause different issues between the couple, and how would it be decided as to who would give up their career and who would continue working?

Question five could be addressed to the couple or it could be addressed to a specialist in the field of time management. Questions that could be asked of the time management specialist would include; 1) how much do you charge, 2) how long would it take to have you complete a schedule, 3) how effective is your scheduling procedure, and 4) how easy is it to implement and maintain the schedule?
