Ready, Set Engage is a software solution that increases Web site conversion rates by proactively offering visitors personalized online chat sessions with sales agents. In the company name, "Ready" means is the customer ready for sales contact, "Set" means are you set to help the customer and "Engage" means you begin the conversation.

Ready, Set, Engage is an exciting new venture business for increasing Web site conversion rates (the number of visitors to a Web site that go on to buy). Ready, Set, Engage's software solution expands on the notion of Web chat where customers can click to chat with a live sales agent. Ready, Set, Engage is more proactive. It analyzes the visitor, what they have looked at, where they are currently doing and how much time they have spent on the Web site. The software also determines if there is a sales agent available to speak to the visitor. If the visitor appears to be a good prospect who just needs that extra push to make a purchase and if there is a free sales agent to engage the visitor, the visitor will be invited to have an online chat session with the sales agent.

The conversation is what makes Ready, Set, Engage's solution so special. Sales agents will get a summary of the products the visitor has been reviewing on their screen. Therefore, they can personalize the conversation. Consider the following example, a visitor comes to a Web site and takes a look at two computer options. The agent could then say, "I've noticed that you have looked at model a and model B. Would you like some help understanding the difference between the two models." Of course, if the visitor begins a dialogue with the sales agent, the sales agent will do his or best to move the sale forward just as would happen in a brick-and-mortar retail store. In this way, live assistance should increase Web site conversion rates and lead to greater customer satisfaction with their Web site experience.
