Office Share Executive Summary Office Share is a share-space venture that takes advantage of the burgeoning share economy demand in Reston, VA, by offering a location where teleworkers can work, use the Internet, relax, and come and go as they please with minimal cost to themselves. This executive summary will provide an overview of the strategy, assets, risk, strategic advertising plan, and statement of corporate responsibility.

The strategy of Office Share is to provide beautiful workspaces that are easily accessible, where teleworkers can work at any hour of the day. Located at 1925 Isaac Newton Sq. East Square, Reston, VA, 20190, Suite 203, our facilities are conveniently situated within walking distance off the Wiehle Metro station to attract teleworkers looking for an affordable, welcoming, inviting, relaxing venue where they can have access to a share space community, have coffee, hop online, and do work. With the rise of the share economy (AirBnB, Uber, ZipCar, etc.), Office Share is the next step in applying the principles of share space to the workplace environment.

The building floor is leased at $1 per sq. foot and consists of 2500 sq. ft of space, allowing for private office rooms to be rented to teleworkers who prefer more privacy within the share space environment.
Risk

Risk is minimal and is ranked overall from high to low -- low being the risk of running out of supplies/coffee (low priority) to high being Internet going out (high priority) and opening business in an unsuitable location where demand is low. Our research indicates that there is high demand in Reston for a share space office environment as there is currently low supply.

Strategic Advertising Plan

The target market consists of young professionals (age 20-40) who are either self-employed or who have the liberty to work from outside the office. Reaching this target through advertising will depend upon developing a brand, cultivating brand recognition/loyalty, and getting in front of customers via social media, such as Facebook and Twitter.
