This is possible through the adoption of various strategies targeting its valued-added care activities like bedsides procedures, teaching, vital signs, communication with patient care, and activities of daily living. II. The clinic could collaborate with leading healthcare insurance providers. Since majority of Americans prefer using the health insurance, most of them would not visit clinics that would prompt them to use cash or rare/unpopular insurers. With such a strategy, the clinic will appeal to a larger customer segment.

III. The retail clinic should have a comprehensive network with local hospitals and physicians. Since walk-in clinics cover a narrow scope of ailments, it is prudent for them to have a partnership with the hospitals so that they can assist a patient who has a health condition beyond their scope of service.
