HR Task Performance Human resources and HR managers contain enormous potential in their ability to align a larger corporate strategy into its own inner workings. Specifically, HR managers working within PM and leadership for elderly services can greatly affect the overall performance of the organization by identifying and completing tasks that support the overall mission. This role within human resources depends on the leader's ability to gather resources and disseminate them accordingly.

For example, HR managers in this case must develop, update and implement important policies. These polices must be standardized and put down in writing. Implementation of these plans must be done by actually performing the outlined policies and putting them into practice, otherwise the policy is useless and not worthwhile. Distinguishing between quantity and quality is also very important in this situation as the tendency for overkill is strong within the social services industry.

Dealing with money with a human services program for the elderly requires the HR manager to have some grasp of the financial and larger economic picture of the overall organization. Once again, the synthesis between the HR department and the organizational leadership must be strong and coherent for such services to remain financially strong. This fiscal responsibility should also be contained or expressed within the written policies and procedures for a better effect.

HR managers need to have strong written and oral communication skills in order to be successful in such an environment. Legal know-how is also very important within this area as many contracts, surveys and other evaluation documents are inherent within these types of social programs. HR mangers must perform these duties with a sense of morals and ethics, and apply reason and rational thought at all opportunities.

Staffing managers must take into consideration the needs of its helpless contingency and patients, and combine that knowledge with the strengths and skills of its team members in order to realize success and have a strong impact on the organization.
Staffing managers, when working on the behalf of the program or on the behalf of the many disabled people, must take into consideration the importance of this work and the reflection it has on the society. How we treat the handicapped and lame is an important factor in establishing a strong community and expressing the true human element. Kindness for others should stand as a rule of thumb.

Staffing managers must create good relationships with complex and confusing bureaucratic agencies in this particular situation. These managers are working with collective opinions that are sometimes very hard to balance. To translate the needs of the patients and customers, requires the HR professional to be able to communicate at many different levels of the organization. Identifying the key stakeholders and understanding their position empathetically will prove to be a very useful approach in handling such matters and assist the organization in collaborations and eventually evolving and growing the program into a stronger and more efficient tool that can be truly used for the good of society.
