¶ … Miami International Airport to the Community Infrastructure is known worldwide to define the levels of development of any country and also used as an indicator of development of a nation. Many countries invest massive amounts to put their infrastructure in place and of late, the bigger and better the infrastructure, the higher the pride the nation takes in showcasing them to the entire world. Effectively, infrastructures have moved from being just basic service to the citizens, to the source of pride of the nation abroad.

The Miami international airport is a central infrastructure that has helped put the region on the world map when it comes to air transportation and travel. Due to the massive size and the technologically up-to-date aspects found within the airport, the infrastructure has attracted attention from across the nation. Having such an investment within the community is beneficial in many ways o the people living within the region as they are the immediate beneficiaries of the investment before the fringe benefits spread out to other parts of the country, hence the pride of the region an the priced property that the community needs to help maintain and improve it.

The trickle down effect of the benefits derived from the employment within the airport is felt in the form of the families they support and other people who depend on the airport employees. This means as long as the airport remains operational and open, there will be more than just the employees benefiting from the infrastructure.
The airport also acts as a significant commercial activity center for the Miami community who are given the chances to open up business within the precincts of the airport. As the airport receives visitors from allover the world, the small businesses within benefit by supplying the visitors with what they would like to shop for as they leave the region or even as they arrive for their businesses or holidays. Apart from the small businesses within the arrival and departure lobbies of the airport, the visitors also come through the airport for business which creates an economic boost to the region further making the infrastructure and inalienable part of the Miami community.
