Environmental classes could chronicle their observations of the weather, for example, and post the results of their class observations online. Creating attractive, scientifically literate material online is an important skill that students should learn. Close attention is paid to curriculum development and getting parents involved in student's education. Rosemont serves a diverse population, and there are Korean and Armenian Parent's Clubs, in addition to a PTA.
Rosemont strives to make math and science an important part of every student's education. All 7th graders are enrolled in life science and all 8th graders must take a course in physical science. All students are enrolled in math, and the courses by Rosemont include Key Math Concepts, Pre-Algebra, Introduction to Algebra, Algebra I, and Geometry. There are nine science teachers and ten math teachers currently on staff.

Rosemont Middle School has been judged a high performing school with an API of 889 and has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon and California Distinguished School. Three out of every four students (77.1%) were judged to be proficient or advanced in English language arts on the California Standardized Test. Eight of every ten students (80.4%) are deemed proficient in math.
