Business Model: Mobile Salon

The main objective in relation to the execution of this research exercise is the formation of a mobile hair and beauty salon. The main reason behind this idea is an encounter I would never forget. I had to attend to a special function in the office thus the need to have my hair done. Since I was tired, I decided to have a rest on my couch for about ten minutes. This proved to be costly since I managed to wake up at 9:00 PM. The salons had been closed until 10.00am the following morning thus lack of an opportunity to have my hair done. I thought about an effective and efficient approach to offer valuable solution for women in the similar situation. According to examination by Schaper et al., numerous business ideas emanate from personal experiences or problems.

The most important consideration of the business plan is to earn a profit while minimizing costs of operation. In the calculation of the profits, total expenses are deducted from total revenues thus implementation of three levels of profits: gross profit, operating profit, and net profit.
