The first leadership scenario is when a co-worker was calling in sick constantly, and it was clear from their attitude that they were not engaged. In this case, the supervisor did nothing, and it ended up affecting the morale of the group. As leader, I would have begun to build a case with this employee for termination, documenting the absences and the fact that they were clearly bogus. It should just be behavior, with the good ethics embedded. At least, that's how I was raised. If you have to think about it, that's already not good -- for me unethical behavior is not even considered an option; it doesn't enter my thought processes.
