Napoleon Bonaparte's creation of the Code Napoleon made it possible for the world to take on a series of human rights and to actually understand that it was important for society to promote these respective legislation. His involvement in reforming the French political system meant that simple individuals would have more rights to go up the social ladder and that it was actually possible for them to be appreciated on account of their work rather than based on their social status.
