Master Of Business Administration. I Essay

¶ … Master of Business Administration. I would like to concentrate on the Management Science division of this degree. In addition to seeing these directions as particularly targeted towards the career I aim for, I am also particularly interested in these studies because of my talents. I have displayed these talents throughout my career and studies, and feel that they would be an asset not only to the study program and the Department themselves, but also to the University as a whole, and eventually to the society within which I will live and work.

Firstly, I have considerable analytical skills. I believe that these are vital in Management Science, as situations and problems in Management often require the skills of a gifted analyst. As such, I am able to assess a problem quickly, and provide a solution that is targeted towards the specific problem. This will also be beneficial for my studies, as Management Science involves considerable analysis. By cultivating this talent, I can then equip myself for success in my future career. In addition to saving time and money, analytical skills are also vital in interpersonal relationships, which has become an important part of Business Administration. The analyst is no longer required to only address issues of economics and science; instead, the interpersonal component of management has become an inextricable part of leadership.

When interpersonal problems among employees for example need to be solved, analytical skills can be applied to help find a quick and amiable solution.

In more concrete terms, my current major is Economics. I believe that my knowledge of this direction will compliment the Management Science direction in a mutually beneficial way. In other words, when completing my studies in Management Science, I believe that my combination of talent, skills and knowledge will equip me to enter the business and management world at the highest levels, with a holistic approach to profitability and employee satisfaction.
