Furthermore, even when they are involved in an accident, people who ride motorcycles containing the latest technology are less likely to experience the damage they would normally undergo. The Honda Gold Wing 2006 model is one of the best examples of technological advancements put in motorcycles, given that its airbag system is extremely important in protecting motorcyclists who experience a head-on collision (world.honda.com).

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration promotes motorcycle safety through informing the general public (all kinds of motorists and even pedestrians) regarding motorcyclists and how they should not be discriminated. Through the NHTSA motorcycling program, authorities expect traffic accidents involving motorcyclists to be reduced (saferoads.org).
c. People have a tendency to categorize women as "bad drivers," generally considering gender to be important when concerning riding a motorcycle. This is however wrong, as accidents mainly happen as a result of the fact that riders are inexperienced, not because of their gender (whybike.com).
Motorcycle riders believe they should be responsible for their own safety and well-being, and should not be forced to wear a helmet if they do not want to.
