While having a photo being faked does seem to simply explain multi-angled shadows, allowing that the rough ground alters the lay of shadows is even simpler. So it would be possible to generally apply Occam's Razor and say that evidence points to the moon landings being real, even though faking the landing would be easier than actually doing it.
