Components of Emotional Intelligence.
Self-Awareness.
Means being aware of one's emotions, strengths, weaknesses, needs, and drives.
Recognition of how one's feelings affect them.
Understanding of one's value and goals in life.
Realistic view of oneself.
Self-Regulation.
Like an inner conversation that frees us from our feelings.
Allows a person to control their actions.
Helps create an environment of trust and fairness.
Emotional control helps a person to react to new and unexpected situations.
Enhances integrity.
