Educational courses that could be developed upon the basis of this article include a course on proper diet, a course on proper exercise, and a course on health living choices. The rationale chosen for the publication of this article is based on Boyer (1990) who holds that one of the four areas of scholarship critical to academic work is that of "discovery where new and unique knowledge is generated."
