The Importance of Telling Loved Ones that We Love Them
I love you. I love all of you. You might think I'm joking, but I do, I love you. Those three little words are really not that difficult to say, even in front of an audience.
There is a problem in our busy modern lives. We are so distracted with all the trappings of modernity -- School, Work, FaceBook, Email, Texting, Reality Shows, and so on that we forget some of the more important aspects of life. This includes forming strong and meaningful relationships and if you are lucky enough to have such a relationship in your life, you should stop taking it for granted and you should stop right now.
Imagine a world without love. Imagine your own personal life without love. It would be a cold and bleak existence. Imagine you had no one to call when you needed help or when you were in trouble for whatever reason. Remember all the times that your parents, family, or friends reached out and offer a hand when you needed it the most. Remember how good you felt when you were able to help out of friend or family member in need. It made you feel good right? We need more of that in our lives. More love. Stronger bonds and stronger connections with those special people in our lives. We don't need more stuff, gadgets, cars, or clothes. What we really need is love.
Imagine going through your daily schedule in which you get to say as well as hear in return the words "I love you." If you don't currently have this experience, then I can definitely tell you that it is wonderful. If you do have this in your life, you may not appreciate it to the fullest extent until it is lost. Humans are social animals and as such, we need relationships. Our lives can be more fully enhanced and meaningful if those relationships grow stronger.
