Letter of Application wish to apply for the School Principal position which was advertised because I am a committed educator, with a strong drive to optimize the educating system and to enhance the potential of the learning environment where I work. From where I stand, the field of education is one of the most challenging domains of activity available. It can also be highly motivating and rewarding for any member of the educational or administrative staff to be working in an environment where young minds are formed and future generations are prepared for life. As such, the School Principal position appeals to me as a career that demands and compounds strong entrepreneurial skills with those aptitudes which are prerequisite in an excellent teacher. I am highly motivated by my desire to find an appropriate medium to enhance my managerial vision and optimize the educational results of the institution as a whole.
My specialized education and my experience in the field recommend me for the School Principal position. As it will be seen from my enclosed CV, I own a Master's Degree in Education Administration and I have the required skills and experience that make me suitable for this position. I possess both functional and technical knowledge and skills so as to perform on my job at an eminent level of accomplishment. Moreover, my previous experience in education has equipped me with the essential abilities mandatory for this position. I am familiar with the overall activity and with the specific practices that the performance on this job entails. Among the principal duties I have completed in the past there are the following: implementing and maintaining an education program which is consistent with the State and Federal guidelines and philosophy, planning and organizing the activity in an educational institution, keeping files and records of the school history, maintaining an active communication with teacher, students and parents as well, enforce discipline according to the standards imposed by the School Board Policy and coordinating the general work of the teachers and of the auxiliary staff in the school. Along with my experience in permanently developing and assisting all the levels of activity in the school, I have also gained a set of personal skills and values that can help me perform well on the tasks mentioned above. The working experience in the educational field has thus prepared me for the soliciting and complex responsibilities which are impending in the role of a School Principal. In my working years, I have developed my interpersonal skills and my ability to build constructive and effective relationships with teachers, students and parents alike. An administrative educator is obliged to have a substantial and consistent ability to relate and to communicate with the people he interacts with. I also had comprehensive experience with cultural diversity and have managed to create a climate of inclusion in the educational institution that I have administered.
I believe that a School Principal has to stay motivated himself and at the same time be able to motivate and direct the others. I think that I can create and maintain an environment where both teachers and students want to do their best. I also believe in promoting confidence and optimistic attitudes among the educational staff and the students as well. I am convinced that a positive learning environment is the most effective way of maximizing the learning potential and abilities of the students that are enrolled in the system. I am also highly competent in decision taking and problem solving, which requires substantial discernment and expertise. I have the managerial courage necessary to direct the actions of the others tactfully and directly at the same time. Overall, I think that my ability to develop a managerial vision that will be both effective and stimulating for the members of the educational institution. It is through my ability of inspiring and motivating an organization that I hope to achieve the core requirements and goals established by my position.
I see my managerial vision and my drive for optimal results are my principal areas of strength that will ensure my success as an educational administrator. My previous experience is also an important qualification which ensures my ability to have an accomplished performance on the job. Another major strength that I consider crucial is my understanding of the educational system and the way in which it can be made to work effectively. I have a comprehensive perspective on education and a great respect for its goals and its importance for individual development. I can also maintain this broad vision and fix the overall purpose of my activity when I have to administer certain aspects in the life of an educational institution.
My aptitudes as a manager have been prepared and proven by the other positions and functions I have held. As an administrator, I have experience in measuring and distributing work and responsibility among the qualified staff, so as to be achieve my goals in the most effective and rapid way possible. Among my managing skills, there is also my ability to focus the result of every enterprise and to work hard for achieving it. I believe in setting goals and priorities and I never give up until I manage to accomplish my purposes. I am highly motivated and I work with energy so as to achieve the goals set. At the same time, I am an integer and righteous person, that would not pursue a purpose through devious or wrong means. The only setbacks that I take into consideration when pursuing a certain purpose are those that are in any way unrighteous, unethical or illegal.
