Vision Statement: The Family Engagement Department

It takes a village to raise a child. In our village of a classroom, we strive to welcome and engage families in every learning stage. We are committed to fostering meaningful partnerships between schools and families, teachers and parents. We can learn together and from one another. Our goal is to promote student success at every grade level. Students are given the tools needed to gain skills and knowledge so they can become active, informed contributors to the world.

We believe in the value of parent-school relationships.

· Parents are integral to a child’s learning.

· Parents must be actively involved in a child’s education.

· Parents are full partners in a child’s education.

· Parents have a right to have a role in the school’s decision-making processes.
