Alternative Sources of Funding in Special Education In the U.S., educators have various avenues at their disposal with which they can source funds with the aim of ensuring that needy children get the necessary support while in school. Previously, a lot of the funding comes from local foundations that help schools manage to provide care to the children with disabilities across the nation. The RGK Foundation is one of the organizations that provide grants to organizations across the country. It awards grants in the broad areas of education, the community, and health or medicine. Its mandate is to ensure that children who are disadvantaged by poverty or disability can access education and can pursue their goals regardless of the challenge. The second foundation is the Children's Guide Foundation that offers support to non-profit organizations that are active in the areas of education, medicine, and healthcare. This is meant to ensure that children and their families can have a good life as the kids can pursue an education in the right manner. As for schools, they can also access grants from the foundation in various categories (The Children's Guide Foundation, 2016). The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation is another foundation that supports schools to make sure that children who are challenged regarding both poverty and disabilities can attend school. The grants given by the organization lie in the category of special education with the aim of ensuring that they keep running at the optimum level for the sake of the community. The organization also ensures that the children are given the community support needed for their social growth.

Limitations

One of the limitations that it placed on the use of the funds in all the three foundations is that the organization's funds cannot be used for special events or activities....

The same case applies to campaigns in which most of the organizations may participate. Similarly, a school cannot use the funds for debt reduction where it has accumulated some debts in the past. This means that the school has to make sure that the funds are used for a specific purpose that is inline or approved by the organization. Emergency or disaster relief projects in schools do not form part of the areas where the funds can be used: the schools that apply must be from within the U.S.A. (RGK Foundation, 2016).
Similarly, it is important to note that the foundations do not provide any long-term continuing program support n any part of the country. The implication is that any renewed support to any organization to schools is based on the reports that are received and reviewed by the organization. One of the things that the foundations do is to ensure that the sites are visited to ascertain that all the funds have been used the right manner (The Children's Guide Foundation, 2016).

Fiscal reporting requirements of the grant

One of the things that cut across all the organizations is the fact that the foundations require timely and informative interim and final grant reporting once the grant has been given. I the guarantees must consult with the foundations grant reporting procedures that are provided by the organization. The grant outcomes report is also an important feature when it comes to the concept of reporting on grants. One of the things that come into the light is that the report in all the three foundations must have support material that informs the grantees on the nature of the projects and the results of the projects. This means that in the case of schools, and then it has to describe the project and the activities that are undertaken because of the funds. For example,…

TANF Time Limits The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or TANF for short, is one of the more controversial and maligned or one of the most lauded and touted social safety net programs in the United States. Whether it is praised or denigrated depends a lot on who is doing the talking and what their motivations are. TANF has turned in a political football on a scale that dovetails quite nicely

Policy Making Process Welfare Reform Policy Analysis Success of welfare reform is ambiguous. Media and well-known public officials claim to have had achieved welfare reforms. However, after 4 years of new policy regime, majority also accepts that welfare reforms have been successfully achieved. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) also validates this by stating that welfare rolls have dropped by 53% to 6.28 million recipients in June 2000 from 12.24 million

College?) It's become a widely recognized fact. College is expensive, and saddles students with lifelong debts. Moreover, observation shows that people learn very little in college and that knowledge and talent in a field may be unrelated to the degrees that one has. There's a simple solution to this problem: the youth of this nation should refuse to go to colleges where they will be saddled with debt and useless

Origins, History of the IMF The International Monetary Fund was first conceived between July 1-22, 1944, at the United Nations Monetary and Financial Conference in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. The conference was attended by representatives of 45 nations, which were called together in order to plan and lay the groundwork for a cooperative economic framework to solve global financial crises before they occur. The system creates and engenders inequity by denying women of color entry. Even though I have lived in many different states and communities, race and sex continue to be visible barriers to success. My most recent setback proves that women of color are viewed as threats and may be silenced when they speak out and appear strong. I recently found work as a bookkeeper. Although not my dream job, I
