First, the locations of the SMEs in the Savannah Georgia area must be scouted out. Second, they must be contacted in order to see if they are willing to participate. Then, a survey with open ended questions must be written out. This would then need to be delivered to the chosen SMEs in the region specified. Fifth, while this survey is being completed by the participants, a more thorough literature review will be conducted. After this, the surveys would need to be collected. Next would be the coding of the surveys using the methodology of grounded theory. Open coding would be the first round, which would then be followed by axial coding to better determine relationships between responses and ideas within them. Finally, assumptions would be generated and discussed in an evaluation of participant perceptions of how social media helps marketing strategies.
