This level of knowledge and skill requires demonstration from kindergarten to the grade 12 in the educational system. The main aim of the state standards for Florida is to prepare the children for future job expectations and career development. Since the standards draws from extensive consultation among teachers, school administrators, and experts within the state, they are important. The standards follow the college and work expectation demands. The standards are precise, consistent, and direct in their interpretation. The standards also follow the requirements of the state standards. The state standards for Florida borrow important information or lesson from the state standards hence they represent important knowledge and skills for students to demonstrate. Based on evidence, the standards are crucial for the development of students towards their college education and work expectation. The state standards for Florida present the students, teachers, and parents on their expectations and knowledge skills towards educational development. These standards represent the knowledge and skills that students need to possess in their K-12 education career (NGACBP, 2010).

Teachers, parents, and students play their roles under the description of the education code or standards. Expectations are clear and self-explanatory hence the stakeholders know their obligations and duties towards achieving the educational goals and objectives. The aim of the state standards for New Mexico & Pennsylvania is to equip students with crucial knowledge and skills to help in their career development from K-12 educational levels. All the stakeholders perform towards the achievement of this objective and mission of the education department (New Mexico Common Core State Standards, 2010).
